Level up Your Fundraising: Critical Tools for New and Small Nonprofits
When: Wednesdays, July 30, August 3, 13, 20, 27 2025, 1-2:30PM

Cost: $75 (up to 2 people per organization included in fee)
Nonprofits across Wisconsin are doing critical work every day to build communities where everyone can thrive, but fundraising can feel like an obstacle for many organizations and leaders. Gain the insights and tools you need to effectively navigate the intricacies of fundraising in 2025. Join Extension’s educators who work with community nonprofits for hands-on training tailored to the needs of new and small nonprofit organizations. The Organizational & Leadership Development Program is excited to announce that registration is open for the Fund Development & Donor Relations mini-course, hosted by the Wisconsin Nonprofits Connect to Learn team.
This course will equip participants with the foundational tools and strategies needed to thrive in today’s philanthropic landscape. Hosted over five sessions, this series dives deep into the essential pillars of successful fund development and donor relations. Join this series to learn how to develop strong relationships with potential donors and cultivate effective fundraising strategies that align with your organization’s mission and goals. You will learn the principles of donor stewardship, including communicating effectively with donors, recognizing their contributions, and building long-term relationships with them. Through this course, participants will:
- Develop a roadmap to guide building your donor network and transform those connections into resources that support your organization’s work.
- Develop relationships with other nonprofit professionals to support your organization’s growth.
- Evaluate your fund development strategies and funding sources.
- Identify individuals and organizations that share a passion for your organization’s cause.
Registration closes on July 27 and is on a first come, first serve basis, so reserve your spot today by completing your registration today. A reduced registration fee can be requested if needed. Requests should be emailed to wncl@extension.wisc.edu prior to registering.
